A Activision anunciou que a versão para Xbox 360 do game musical "Guitar Hero 5" poderá importar os avatares do menu do console. Assim, além dos personagens do próprio game, como Judy Nails e Axel Steel, o jogador poderá usar o "boneco" criado na dashboard do Xbox 360.

O game prevê mudanças significativas em relação à ultima edição canônica, chamada de "World Tour". A primeira delas é o sistema de avaliação, com seis estrelas, permitindo graduar melhor o desempenho do jogador.

Além disso, cada canção traz um desafio temático, como manter o multiplicador por algum tempo no nível 4x, conseguir determinada pontuação ou usar a alavanca de tremolo o quanto puder. "Guitar Hero 5" também prevê avatares de artistas famosos: já estão confirmados nesta edição a lenda do country Johnny Cash, o guitarrista Carlos Santana e Shirley Manson, vocalista do Garbage.

O título está previsto para chegar ao Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii e PlayStation 2 em 1º de setembro. Veja todas as 85 canções de "Guitar Hero 5":
